Whether looking for lessons for your child or for yourself, we have different options available for you.
You can sign up for lessons scheduled to run in line with the school year. Terms run from Sept-Dec, Jan-Mar, Mar-May, May-Sept. At the start of each term, we will ascertain a clear objective to be met by the end of the term. This is an objective we will determine together and will be achievable with practice and focus.
You can sign up for workshop lessons. Workshop lessons might suit the more advanced musicians who want to focus on a very specific area of their drumming. These lessons can be scheduled as frequently as needed. The material undertaken and the progress of the student will determine how often the lessons occur. These lessons will run weekly or bi-weekly depending on the student’s schedule.
I would suggest beginners opt for a term of weekly lessons to keep focussed and on-track. Workshop lessons are purchased in blocks of 4, 8 or 12 lessons.
Lesson times can be set to suit everyone’s schedule and this is a detail that will be set up prior to the commencement of lessons.
Lessons can be held weekly, fortnightly or monthly. This will depend on the student’s goals and the amount of practice time the student can dedicate to achieving these goals.
Lessons can be carried out in a location that suits you, perhaps where your drum kit is set up. This may suit in relation to time constraints you might have and in relation to the student feeling more at ease playing on their own instrument.
Alternatively, you can come to my studio. This is particularly suitable for total beginners where you want to ascertain if playing the drums is the right fit for you.
